'New Look' Awesome Deal!

Ok! I got hold of the computer again in my Principal's office so here's a short update for you lovelies! hehe! So anyways, some time ago I went to 313 at Somerset. It was a random day after work with practically nothing to do...then a kind soul randomly gave me this...

-A $ 10 'New Look' voucher- =D

-So I bought these basic outfits, 2 for me and 2 for Joey- =)

Originally the the outfit cost I think was $16.90 each but it was going on discount at (2 for $15). AWESOME OR WHAT? So 4 pieces at $30 and with the $10 vouncher I only spent $20 on all those! WOWWW!

YES! ONLY $20 so I saved $47.60 =D

I am now typing this with tears gushing out from my eyes (Dramatic effect lol) in my Principal's office. Thanks to her I can type this short entry as you see....my lappy decided to be in a coma thus the lack of entry for these pass few days. Exclusive Launch of Pret-A-Papier Collection!

So today I reveived an e-mail from M.A.C cosmetics. =)

Its an exclusive invitation but I'm pretty much sure all you Make-up addicts would be excited about the new Summer collection so why not I spread some love. Lol. So below are the details...

Revlon ColorBurst!

So once again Revlon came out with another amazing product. The 'Revlon Colorburst' lipstick! which comes in 20 different shades in US but I guess there's only 8 shades here in Spore. I'm pretty sure most of you have heard tonz of raves about this newly launched lippies particularly at Onsugar! =) So anyways I've swatched 4 colours which I hearts the most as compared to the rest of them. =)

-So again, I secretly snapped the pic...hehe! was taken as Watsons(Sembawang) hehe! So this gorgeous lipstick retailing at $21.90. Initially I was a little skeptical about drugstore lippies selling at such price but after swatching them and found out they have nudes and hot pink, I'M SOLD! =D

-So the 4 favourites are, 1stly the colour 'Blush' which provides a soft pink tone, its not nude though and appears natural on the lips- (Apologies if most of the pics are not clear as it was snapped by a lousy camera phone)

-2ndly 'Soft Nude' which provides a nude peachy pink tone-

-3rdly 'Peach' as the name suggests provides a bright peach/coral tone-

-Last but not least 'Fuchsia' which provides a hot pink tone-

-And here's the swatches- =)

I really love how this lippies glides so smoothly on the lips and very pigmented. It has a mosturising finish yet the colour are long wearing and not too glossy unlike most mosturisng effect lippies. Lovez! =)

MY TOP 2 FAVOURITES GOES TO.....*DRUM ROLL PLS* =D

1. 'Fuchsia'- Because its has a similar intense hot pink tone as my recent 'M.A.C Riverting' lippies which you cant find it anymore as the 'Riverting' season is over thus this is a great substitute! =D

2. 'Soft Nude'- Need I explain why I truly love this shade???? LOL! Basicly as all of you know that I'm a fan of nude lippies...I don't know how many times have I declared this! Haha! but anyways this shade is Super similar to my all time favourite 'M.A.C Peach stock' which is a nude peach tone and recently I also found another substitute 'NYX Circe'. Only that this Revlon 'Soft Nude' has a pink undertone so its more like a nude peachy pink rather than nude peach. But anyways I super loveeeeeee it!!!! =D

-So here's how they look like on my lips... Omg so so so nude peach lorrrrr!- =D

Palette Updatez!

Yo! At last its Saturday again! Had a great day with Joey at Little India justnow till he decided to get all PMS-y and picked up a fight with a foreign worker for oogling at my butt! HAHAHA! MEN! So anyways its Adam Danial's 2nd B'day too! Love you baby! Oh yeahhh...he broke the drumset that Joey and me bought for him coz he was too excited! LOL!

Ok Ok...back to the main point of this entry...I think I've around 8 eyeshadow palettes altogether at the moment and 1 pending SMH (StarMakeupHaven) palette and NYX pearl shimmer / glitter pigments all the way from US! LOL! Expected to arrive end of May...what a long wait! Hope they are worth the wait! =D

-New palette collection...Taaaaaadaaaa!- =D

-1stly, my favourite 120 colour shimmer palette- =)

-I swatched some of the gorgeous colours! Very pigmented but not that shimmery. Some looks rather metallic to me. Anyways still AWESOME!- =D

-What really amazed me is this particular row of colours. Look really pretty like a mixture of 2 colours but actually it just comes out as one tone when applied. Joey was amazed too. Haha!- =D

-Ohhhhh..in which my Baby Qiqish became the victim on a random day when we were both feeling bored with nothing better to do haha! Nice? =D

Tried the gorgeous yellow, pink and purple on her...and oh my....her lashes damn long lahhhhh!!! NO NEED FALSIES! JEALOUS! HAHAH! Ooohhh anyways I used my 'Benefit-Bad gal Lash' mascara on her which I reviewed on it some entries back. It did'nt work for me but works pretty well on Qiqish...

Oh for those of you who wanna get the mascara, its selling as $41 and you can find 'Benefit' cosmetics at any 'Sephora' outlet located at 'Orchard Ion' or 'Ngee Ann city' OR 'Benefit' counters at 'CK Tang' and 'Robinsons'. =)

-Next is the '42 colour double stack' palette which I bought before. Here's the review of this pretty thang! =)

-Lastly, the '20 concealor' palette. Awesome stuffs! Tried it on Joey and the darker shades matches his skin tone pretty well!- =)

John Little Exit Sale Mini Haul

Holllllaaaaa Loveliez! Much apologies for the slowmo update...been very very bz and shag....Booooohuhuuuu! Hope you guys are doing awesome yeah! And oh yeah...thank you readers for all the support and love especially to 'Miss Muss' and 'Rinn' whom I do not know in person. You guys are such sweethearts. =)

So anyways, being a proud 'John Little' member, I'm always on a look out for their 2o% storewide sale or sometimes more...haha! Yalahh..Im a cheapskate like that...lol...but why spend more right when you can wait for the Sale?

SO GOOD NEWS for all of you, 'John Little' at Somerset (not sure of the building name) is having their 20-35% storewide sale! I think it started a few month back and is ongoing till I think early or mid may...its only in that particular outlet that the sale has been ongoing for months coz I heard from the staffs that they are closing down...almost all the cosmetic products available at 'John Little' is on SALE! and also hair and health products! LOVEZZZZ!!

-SEE! Huge poster starts from Somerset Station, 'EXIT SALE'- =D

-So once you exit (no puns intended hehe) from Somerset stn, cross the road and you'll see this!- =)

-So here's what I bought, 1stly my favourite Korean cosmetic brand which was at 35% off...'Lioele' 3D lipgloss! latest edition-

As you can clearly see from the pic above, the lipgloss I got is in 'Smoky Beige' which has a 'Nude Peach' tone...what else right...hehe! So I tried it with non other that my favourite 'M.A.C-Peach Stock' and the results are Awesome! Actually the lipgloss are very pigmented, you can just apply it on its own without a base colour...similar to 'Canmake' lipgloss but 'Lioele' 3D lipgloss has a more mosturising effect and isnt too thick like 'Canmake'....2 thumbs up! =D

-'M.A.C-Peach Stock' + 'Lioele 3D Enamel'- =)

-Next I bought 2 of these 'Maybelline smooth felt liner'.This thang provides precised lines...very easy to apply! Just like a pen or marker haha! It really save a lot of my time and you can create thin or thick lines with this and the texture isnt think and not so wet. BUT the bad thing about it is that its NOT waterproof so watery eyes like mine will not benefit from this awesome liner in the middle on the day...Definitely smudges when you tear...=S -

-Next is this 'LA Girl' loose powder...I love this brand which is sadly only available in John Little, their stuffs is really cheap but good! I guess this was only $12.10 before sale...and I like the texture...its really smooth,,,-

-But personally I am very particular about foundation/powder that I apply on my face. Im only ok with 'ZA, M.A.C & Lioele' so I only apply this below my eyes when I'm working with dark eyeshadows so that I can just swipe it off if there are any fall outs and YES! its so smooth that you can wipe out the dark eyeshadow fallouts without a trace when you apply this powder below your eyes!- =D

-After applying all you gorgeous make-ups, you might wanna prepare oil blotter in your handbag incase your face gets oily in the middle of the day and you dont wanna ruin your make-up =D So here's 'Nude' oil blotter only at $1 after discount I guess! haha! Oh yeah from my previous entry you can see my 'Nude' Kabuki brush which I got it for only $5, original price was $19.90 if Im not wrong- =)

-Next is 'Lucido-L' Hair milk for creating soft waves. OMG!!!! This thing is awesome lahhh!!! Definitely works for my curly wurly tresses! It works like wax which shapes the hair but at the same time non sticky or hard and tames my frizz as well! Basicly its just like a Wax + treatment cream. AWESOMEEEEEE!!! =D

-Next is this Gorgeous trio nail polish..originally $8 now for only $3.90....actually I was'nt that lucky to have 3 awesome colours in the bag,,,I secretly mixed and matched them form other bags when no one's watching. WAKAKAKAKAKA! SSSssshhHhhhHHhhh.... -=D

-And because the colours are all too pretty I decided to apply all the colours together. Oklah not bad but the hot pink turned orangy red prolly because its mixed with the lime green...and thus this combi looks like a christmas-themed nails. Lol! and btw these nail pics are taken by my 6 year old students. Confirm FUTUTRE PHOTOGRAPHER!- =D

-Last but not least, My favourite 'Make Up Shop' concealor! Unfortunately this brand is not included in the 'John Little Exit Sale', I bought it at 'Marina Sq John Little' when they were having 20% off storewide also- =)

M.A.C @ Tampines Mall (Isetan)

Woooooohooooo....!!! I'm now a very very proud TAMPINESIANZ! LOL! Thanks to http://heavenlygorgeous.onsugar.com/ I got the 1st hand news about the new M.A.C outlet in Tampines Mall which was officially opened on 15th April 2010. Awesome! So on Wednesday I made my way there with a wide smile on my face. =D But sadly the MUA told me NO PICS ALLOWED. Ofcourse lah I quite sad coz cannot show you loveliez a glimpse on the new outlet. But no worries! I managed to sneakily snapped 4 pics haha! 1 taken with a digicam and 3 from the horrible hp camera..see how much I sacrifise for all of you HAHA! =p

-Here it goes!- =D

-Gotta say the new outlet is a little cramp and limited stuffs but still! Its good enough lar! and Im thankful! So I bought 2 stuffs hehe!-

-Firstly is my favourite 'Studio Fix' two-way-cake ($47) in NC35 which is actually a little tan for me after oxidation (oxidised) takes place but I'm ok with that coz I need some colour for my pale complexion- =D

-Next is this GORGEOUS HOT PINK LIPPY! This is from the 'Riveting' range in 'Show Orchid AC9' ($28) -

-Swatch!-

My take: The colour is very rich and very pigmented. Glides smoothly on the lips and mosturising. Not like my usual matte/satin texture lippies from M.A.C and definitely not my usual choice of colour as you all know I'm the nude pink/ nude peach kinda girl but anyways this is great for party! Really pretty pink!!!

BUT sadly for all of you who's already thinking of getting this, I'm afraid you cant get it =( , unless you wanna travel all the way to Indonesia coz the the 'Riveting' season in Singapore is over on Wednesday and yes I'm super lucky!

Actually the M.A.C in Tampines Mall have already cleared the stock but the dear MUA searched the drawer and managed to find one left for me! hehe!. U.S have already started on their 'Summer' collections when we have just ended the 'Spring' collection. I think we're way behind by a month and next is Indonesia. But no worries in my nxt entry I'll provide you with a substitute for this colour ok!! =)

-So just for you loveliez, I've created two looks that will go along pretty well with this gorgeous lippy....Firstly I tried it on a Silver-Hotpink smokey eyes- =)

Randomz!

Hello loveliez! Was supposed to update this yesterday night but I fell asleep with my lappy on! HAHAHA! Anyways took some pics yesterday at work coz I'm just so in love my new lash extension though it gets a little annoying sometimes haha...OH!!!! BTW I accidentally pulled out the extension justnow. Omg...was I supposed to be a boy or what? couldnt get any rougher...hakz! But no worries...got it fixed for free justnow...=D

-Anyways...here it goes...hehe!- =D

-After snapping these pics I realised that my hair have grown and all the black roots have started popping out lar!!! So I decided to head down to town and went to 'Image' salon to touch up on those nasty roots....and SNAPZ!- =D

-Taaaadaaaa...!!! Nasty roots gone! YAY!- =D

-And I took these 2 more pics at 'Cotton On' changing room HAHA!- =D

-And yes ofcourse I bought 4 of these cute stuffs from 'Cotton On' LOVEZZZZ!!!- =)

-Last But Not Least: 'STAGE' cosmetics!!!!! Too excited I can dai...HAKZ!-

As mentioned in my recent FB status, 'Stage' is having their $8 Specials on certain items like lipstick, lipgloss, eyeliners and 40% off on most of their products excluding accessories like makeup brushes, falsies, brush cleaner and also foundation and concealors. But still, AWESOME RIGHT? Sale ends next month prolly 30th May 2010...what a superb long SALE! =D

I think I only spent around $83 on all the stuffs above and 1 free item! =) LOVEZ! And besides I'm now officially a proud member of 'Stage'. =D Will do a proper post about this and the items haul and reviews prolly in the nest 2 entries OK? =D

Lashes Issues! =)

So this morning was BAD-LASHES-DAY for me! Today was the first time in 2 years I did not put my falsies on! Oh yes...I'll never leave my house without my falsies! Oh btw you can read my previous post on 'Falsies' here:

So anyways I went to work feeling all grumpy coz I kept blaming myself for waking up late thus not having the time to put on my falsies hahaha! So I searched my makeup bag and lucky me I brought my 2 latest mascaras along. So let us see whether they did any good to the grumpy Imma. LOL =P

-So anyways, this is my pathetic, non existant lashes, wonder where my Indian genes gone to...lol-

-So 1st up, I applied my 'Sephora Atomic Volume' mascara-

-Results: Surprisingly, very minimal change. Lashes still looks botak and mascara feels wet. Strangely it kinda give me the same feeling as when I applied 'Silky Girl' mascara only that 'Silky Girl' mascara works better for me! OMG! What happened Sephora?? I still LOVE their other housebrand products though- =)

-So next, I tried putting on my latest gorgeouzz 'Benefit-Bad gal Lash' mascara-

-Results: It does lengthen my lashes, gave it a little weight but volume wise nahhhhh..and oh forgot to take the pic of the brush, its quite big though and thus will be quite messy if you wanna apply it to the bottom lashes.-

-So feeling even more grumpier that before, iidecided to stop by 'Watsons' during my lunch break to try out some mascaras haha! and I tried on 'Loreal Ultra Volume Collagene' mascara and the results are Awesome!

Ok lah..not bad for botak lashes like mine! Haha! It spreads my lashes nicely and evenly, provide a decent looking volume at the same time not clumping them. I say its Good! Sorry no pic coz I just tried the tester- =D

So do you think Imma will be satisfied? YES! OFCOURSE NOT! HAHAHA! So after trying all those mascaras, I definitely know that mascara's not my game, Falsies still rule! So to try something different I decided to go for EYELASH EXTENSION since I was bored and had nothing on after work. =)

Wanted to try the shop at FEP but I changed my mind and went down to Bugis Street instead. A new shop at level 2. They have another outlet at City Plaza where I went there a few months back for hair extention. Hehe!

-Anyways I managed to snap 2 pics while no one's watching...lol- =p

-And here's how they look like! Yipeee Yay! (Btw sorry you gotta look at my nude face haha, the person who did my lashes wanted to wipe off my mascara but then later she removed my whole makeup...dont ask me why coz I have no clue also LOL!- =D

Just a little advice from me is that its not recommended that you go for Eyelash extension if you are not even used to Falsies . Reason being, you wouldnt be feeling comfortable with an extra bundle of lashes above your eyes 24/7 when you have not get use to wearing Falsies even for a few hours a day! =)

Silver and Gold Spaklez!

Hello Loveliez! Its been nearly a week since I last post an entry...been very sick. =( But now I'm bck on my feet hehe! to update you guys on some stuffs which Ive gotten some time ago. Tried it for the past 2 weeks and I think its awesome so I thought of sharing it with you loveliez! =D

-So these are my favourite Silver (PO6) and Gold (PO3) glitters from Sephora. Do take note that at the back of this small container it states there as "Paillettes Glitter". Its important to check it because there's also Shimmer/Shimmer glitter and other forms of sparkles which comes in the same type of container so do check out the labels behind to get the exact thing that you want- =)

-This is how the Silver & Gold glitters look like...Gorgeous are'nt they???- =D

These glitters works very well when you are working with dark eyeshadows so as too add a little sparkle or a more dramatic effect. But pls ensure safety precaution when applying glitters to the eye area as some types of glitters are not safe around the eye area due to its size.

-So I try out with this Cheap and Good E.L.F Duo Cream Eyeshadow. Using the black tone as the base for the glitters- =D

-Taaaadaaaa....! Pretty!- =)

-And next, something to complement these glitters, I bought a Silver and Gold eyeliner in which you apply under your water line to give more definition to your eyes! Here are the 'Funky Eyelights' from Silky Girl which you can also apply as a base for your Silver and Gold eyeshadow. These awesome stuffs are only at $8.90 each! Very pigmented and intense colour!LOVEZ!-

Lippies & Brushes are LOVE! =)

So yesterday I went "travelling" from Tampines to Queenstown then to Kovan to collect some of the cosmetics stuffs which I bought online. I opted for a self collection because I just find it more secure and besides its my date with Joey and we just love to travel from one end to another LOL.

So before I start reviewing and swatching the products that I purchased, I shall introduce all of you to my newfound LOVE that is the.....*Drum Roll* pls....

Oh yes this site is AWESOMENEZZ! Most of my favourite stuffs are there...ranging from makeup palettes to brushes to eyeshadows to lipstick etc...but ofcourse something that made me literally jumped is the NYX LIPPIEZ!!! YES! thespectrumshop carries NYX lipstick. gloss and lip balms so you guys do not have to go through the hassle of ordering it in US/UK website and waiting for 2-3 weeks for its shipping process which I blogged about this in my previous entries. So now you Singaporean makeup addicts can order it locally & perhaps only have to wait for 2-3 days. Cool? =)

-So before I start my rambling further haha...let me show yo the stuffs I got yesterday- =)

-And here are the 4 lovely NYX Round Lipstick that I chose..much LOVEZ!- =D

Pretty arent they? What I noticed about the colour tones is that, they are similar to some of the M.A.C lipstick and also the other range of NYX lipstick. Firstly is 'Strawberry Milk' VS my previous NYX lipstick in 'Harmonica'

-Am I right?- =)

However 'Strawberry Milk' which is in the NYX Round Lipstick range is creamier while 'Harmonica' has a slight metallic sheen to it. Both are preety anyways! =) And below is me in 'Harmonica' =)

So anyways my 2 most favourite lippies from NYX for the moment gotta be 'Circe' and 'Summer Love' reason being 'Circe' have the same colour tone as my FAVOURITE 'Peach Stock' from M.A.C and 'Summer Love' is similar to 'Honey Love' and some other nude pink range from M.A.C also...AWESOME??? You got stg similar at a much cheaper price!

But ofcourse M.A.C lipstick last longer as they come in variery of texture which 'Satin' and 'Matte' is my favourite texture as they last longer on the lips while NYX lipstick are all mostly moisturising & creamy so they glide smoothly on the lips but not very long lasting. Nonetheless 2 thumbs up for both M.A.C & NYX! =D

-Me in 'Circe' (Nude peach) and 'Smmer Love' (Nude pink)- =)

Next is this NYX Eyeshadow base/primer which is supposed to be applied before you apply any eyeshadows so that your eyeshadow will last longer and perhaps prevent it from creasing. There are other brands like Urban decay, Two faced, E.l.F Studio etc but no harm trying something different and cheaper haha! And there's actually quite plenty good remarks about this in youtube. =)

-I've not tried it myself but what I feel is that the texture is quite similar to M.A.C paintpot where you can use to prep your lids too. I'll try them soon and let you loveliez know ok!- =D

And below are the brushes but these are from magicaltannsu BUT you can also get the 'Essence of Beauty-Deluxe Duo Set' brush at thespectrumshop at the same price. What I like about the 'Deluxe Duo Set' is that it comes in a handy ziplock-like pouch and the 3 'Duo' brushes are ofcourse so soft & handy coz of the 2 sided features! LOVE!- =D

-1stly my favourite is the 'Blush & Powder' brush which ofcourse the 'Blush' section can be used for contouring due to its angled shape and I used the 'Powder' section to brush off eyeshadow fallouts under the eyes - =D

DIY Cream Eyeshadow

Hello! We meet again! I've been procrastinating on this post and finally I got the time to post this up! =D Anyways...as all you loveliez could clearly tell, I LOVE EYESHADOWS...my pride and joy hahaha, so much that I decided to play a little experiment with some of my non-s0-pigmented/brandless/cracked eyeshadows and which I love too much to discard them away.

So what I did was to turn all these not-so-pigmented/brandless/cracked powder eyeshadows into 'Cream' eyeshadows. Cream eyeshadows actually act as a base for your powder eyeshadows. When you apply cream eyeshadow as a base then top it up with your powder eyeshadow, the colour of the powder eyeshadow will look more intense and pigmented. You got it? Its the same rational as when you apply your cream/liquid foundation before your loose powder or 2 way cake for a better coverage. Now you see the whole picture? LOL.

Ok enough rambling, so now I'll show you the steps in making your DIY Cream eyeshadows from your non-so-pigmented/ brandless/cracked eyeshadows! =D

-So here's my eyeshadows that's too precious to be thrown away- =)

-So next, what you need is firstly, a container with conpartments for your cream eyeshadows-

-Secondly, a lotion/mosturiser and I used this humpty dumpty lotion from '02 Skin Solution' which I blogged about it before...It smells super gooodddd lorrr!!!- =D

-Lastly is something that you can use to do the mixing and I used a bobby pin hehe!-

-So lets begin our little experiment, 1st Step: Scrap your powder eyeshadows into the container-

-2nd Step: Add in the lotion (Just enough to form a mousse/cream-like texture, you can always add on if its too dry)-

-3rd Step: Mix them and you will get something like that!- =)

-So now repeat Steps 1-3 for the rest of your powder eyeshadows and this is roughly what you'll get- =)

-And now for the fun part, let us compare the initial colour of the powder eyeshadow with the newly formed cream eyeshadow- =D

-And my Top 2 favorite! Black and Gold- =)

-This is what you can do with the black Cream eyeshadow, other than acting as a base, you can also apply it like a gel eyeliner using a liner brush! Nice?- =D

-Now lets us see what happened when I applied my DIY Cream eyeshadow with a top layer of the powder eyeshadow. I chose gold because this is the hardest colour to stand out when applied to people with a fair skin tone (Right Fidah??? hehe!)-

Can you see the difference loveliez??? DEFINITELY MAN! =D

-And this pic I took after 15 hous upon the application of my DIY Cream eyeshadow + powder eyeshadow. I SWEAR it lasted lorrr!! and I did not even apply any eyeshadow primer first. Do you notice that my forehead gets a little oily but my lid stays dry and the eyeshadow did not creased? AWESOME!!!-

Coastal Scents Palettes (Review & Swatches)

Hello lovelies! Apologies for not updating as regularly as I'm so bz with work and all...promise I'll update more frequently and will do vid tutorials pretty soon after I'm done with the competition vid for facesbysarah.com! =)

As you all know how crazy I am about eyeshadows and palettes so today I'm gonna show you the 4 palettes I bought from Coastal Scents. I'm sure most of you know about this brand. Very well known for their palettes. Do check out their other products yeah at http://www.coastalscents.com/ but you gotta be patient lar with their shipping and all or you can just get them locally from some blogshops.=)

-So anyways this is the 1st palette that I bought from Coastal Scents. The '88 shimmer palatte'. I guess most of you have heard so much raves about this product before right? how pigmented they are, how sparkling and long lasting etc...so I'll just skip on this Ok! (And yes I've used this so many times for most of my eyeshadow combi. AWESOME STUFF!) =D

-Next is the '28 neutral colour' palette. I shall not swatch this too coz what you see there in this pic is what you get....earthly tones which I use everyday for work and some of the shades I actually use for contouring and highlighting! You can mix and match the brown shades to get teh exact shades that you want. Some are shimmer some are matte. I say 2 thumbs up for this!- =)

-And this is one of the latest I bought around last month, the '42 double stack shimmer' pallette. Upper portion is the gorgeous shimmer eyeshadows while the lower portion are the amazing blushers! I number them so that you can refer to the swatches below- =)

-These are my top 5 favourite colours from the eyeshadow stack. SUPER PIGMENTED AND AWESOME GORGEOUS COLOURS! I LOVE! I felt that these colours are better than the '88 shimmer' palette as it has lesser shimmer and thus providing a more pigmented and briliant tones with just 1 or 2 layers!- =D

-And these are 4 of my favourite blusher colours from the lower portion blusher stack, I give it my own name since there's no names or colour codes on the palettes and the names I've given depicts their colour tones and not just for fun. Lol! -

-Last but not least is the '32 Lip colour' palette. And again I number them so that you could easily refer and compare to the swatches below- =)

-And I give my own name to this too. This is the outstanding and 'loud' colour range. I picked 5 of my most favourite! Stunning aren't they? - =)

-And these are the lovely subtle/nude range. I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS!- =D

And why I love these nude range so much coz the 'Nude peach' tone is so much similar to my favourite M.A.C 'Peach Stock' lippies and the 'Nude pink' tone is so much like NYX lippies in 'Harmonica'. =)

The best thing about this lip palette is that the colour is not too mosturising. YES I'm not a fan on moisturising lippies coz the colour does not last. If I want a glossy/ shining effect, I will just add a separate lip gloss. So yeah give me lipstick/pallettes/gloss with a Nude peach or Nude pink tones, I'M SOLD! =D

-So here's how it looks like with no concealor and no application of loose powder, just one layer of this Studiocake cream foundation-

Review: I love how easy and smoothly this cream foundation glides through my skin. The coverage is great though with only 1 layer. As you can see from the picture, you can still see my dark circles but my cheeks looks rather flawless as I only applied it in on my cheeks area. So I would say that its definitely worth it! AND whats the best thing? The Make-up artist there told me that their cream foundation was used for the cast in "The Little Nyonya" as it provides superb coverage. Awesome much? =)

Oh btw apologies I didnt take a close up pics of the mini brushes. It simply consist of a blusher brush, eyeshadow brushes, lip brush & eyebrow defining brush. =)

Girlies Day Out! =)

Ok...Its been quite some time since I last blog about any events or outings. As you can see that lately its mostly about cosmetic hauls and reviews...I so so so LOVE make-ups so dont you dare stop me coz I'll never! =D But because this was a special reunion between Miss-Step-Coy and me hehe I shall blog this specially for her! (Awwwwwwww....) LOL.

I wanted to get some stuffs from the Sephora sale, so I met Miss-Step-Coy aka Fidah at City hall. She was feeling rather frustrated that her Bf had to continuously two-timed her with work hahahaha!...she rinduuuu larrr konon coz can only meet for a while before she met me.lol. But its ok.... 2 girls is always more fun! HAHA!

-So yeah....I was that excited about the AWESOME sale!- =D

And after which we happily went to the ladies to check out on the items that I bought and in Fidah's words Conteng-Face session hehehe....It was a mini makeover for her as we wanted to camwhore since we seldom meet lahhh....been like what? 2 years since we last met? or was it 3 years??? Seee....its that long lahhhh!!! So yeah I had a great time conteng-ing her face coz we kept on gigling and Fidah paisey lioazzz coz everyone stared at her lahhhh as they were queing to the loo...ok what...free publicity ya know...lol. But guess what?! Both were so damn SELENGER BACIN, neither of us brought our digi cams! HAHAHAAHAH! OMG! Bimbo lah...ohhh wells....but that didnt stop us from posing mah...still got Hp what....=D

Elianto Eyeshadows!

Hello! Lately I bought alot of eye make up products (will update them all later k) but I gotta say 'Elianto' is so preety! I bought the casing last year in KL and since then I've always pocrastinate to fill in the eyeshadows hehe! So I head down to Tampines Mall, 'Elianto' to purchase them. I'm not too sure where else you can find 'Elianto' outlet. I think there's only 2 outlets in S'pore including the one at Tampines Mall. =) (Pls tell me if you are aware of any other 'Elianto' outlets in Spore yeah?) =)

-So this is the pretty casing I bought from KL 'Elianto' last year, they have it too here in Spore but no preety designs- =D

-4 slots and a big mirror!- =)

-And these are the fun are pretty colours that I chose, I no. them 1-4 coz I don't think they have colour names or codes or perhaps I'm just blur lol and notice that 3 of them are from the 'Pearl Shine' range and the the yellow shadow are from the normal range coz the yellow tones from the normal range are more vibrant and strong!

-The 'Pearl Shine' shadow features- =)

-Take the shadows out of their boxes and slot them all in the casing compartments and TAAAADAAAA...!!! Gorgeous!- =D

Sephora Sale Haul!

Holla! Unfortunately for those who had missed this awesome sale, you're missing out on such great deals honey! 20th March was the last day of sales at Suntec, went for 2 days and here's what I got for a freaking cheap price of $80 only!!!! Up to 70% off I guess....Yipeeeee Yayyyy! =D

-Taaaaadaaa!-

-Well as you can clearly see I bought 4 of those scented sprays parfums because I sooooo love it! 3 of it are 'Chocolate Toffee' which smells very much similar but stronger than 'Vanilla' perfume from BodyShop which they had already discontinue the item so I thought this was a FANTASTIC substitute! They also have 'Vanilla' but 'Chocolate Toffee' is better personally & they dont sell 'Vanilla' on the sales. This smells too yummy you just wanna eat yourself up! LOL-

-And another in 'Monoi Tiara", aint sure what scent is that but it kinda smell like jasmine plus lavender...great for some Aroma Theraphy! - =D

-And OFCOURSE! To go along with the 'Chocolate Toffee' spray, I bought 'Chocolate Toffee' Body Butter!!! Ooohhh yes...im sure most of my friends know how crazy I am over Body Butters esp those from Body Shop and now SEPHORA! It's so creamy and smells too delicious almost like a real cake cream! LOL!-

-And since there's no 'Chocolate Toffee' body scrub on the sales, I bought 'Vanilla' body scrub instead. FIRST LOVE!- =)

-And omg...did I mention how sweeeeeeettt this 'Strawberry Rasberry' shower cream smells???! AWESOME!-

-And now for some Cosmetics! Firstly the 'atomic volume' mascara, I normally use falsies but I still need mascara for the bottom lash. Honestly, in my opinion not very volumising but its good for those wearing falsies and then you wanna stick the real lash and falsies together- =)

-Awesome eye glitter!- =D

-It works better when you apply a dark pigmented eye shadow along with it, like this!- =D

-And I got these 2 fantastic Plumping Lip Gloss! Oh yes! I love lip gloss with plumping effect!- =D

-And the pink shade plumper works best with a nude pink/ milky pink tones lipstick- =)

-And last but not least, flashy liner in green, can be use for lining lower lid and also works well as an eyeshadow base if you dont have cream eyeshadow that you wanna use as base before applying powder eyeshadow for a more pigmented and vibrant effect!- =)

NYX Haul!

So Syaza and me ordered some NYX cosmetics online coz you rarely find them here in S'pore. And yes...most of it are lippies! lol what else when it comes to Syaza and me...so here's the swatches just for you lovelies....=)

Review: Colours are very pretty and vibrant! It look pigmented and rich when applied to the skin. However honestly, they were not as pigmented when applied to the lips. The texture is more glossy and creamy and thus colour may not come out fully unlike a matte-texture lipstick and "Glory" provides more of a shimmery effect, silvery pink, not much colour, very metallic, definitely not as expected when you see from the lipstick itself. Nevertheless all these pink shades are lovely! Very nude! The way I like it! =)

-The Swatches!-

Review: As you can see, the "Mega Shine" lipgloss is a little whitish and shiny and thus its works great if you wanna soften down a lipcolour and provide extra shine. E.g. A hot pink lipgloss will turn baby pink, whereas a baby pink lipgloss will turn slighly nude with the "Mega Shine".

The "Rose Sparkle" has a pretty coral pink tone while the "Pink Sparkle" is a vibrant baby pink tone. LOVEZ! =)

-Last but not least is a liquid base contouring make up which is only available in 1 tone-

Review: Its a little too dark for my skin tone. However the colour will blend in after a few secs upon application so its suitable for a range of tan to dark skins. Blends pretty well and looks natural when used for contouring! =)

Overall its definitely worth the money! The colour tones are gorgeous and works pretty well if you are willing to be a little more experimental with your looks like the pic below! hehe! The lip colour is a mixture of a little "Harmonica" and more of "Spoiled" btw! =D

Lippies I love! (Part 2)

Hello lovely readers! How's your shopping for Falsies? hehe! Btw as you all know how much I raved about nude pink and nude peach lipstick/lipgloss, I found some other products which will be add on to my list of favourite lippies!!! =D

- So the first new addition to the family is Canmake nude pink lipgloss (Strawberry Whip)-

-Next is Canmake nude peach lipgloss (Sugar Milk Tea)-

Conclusion: Both are awesome as they provide the exact shade that I want! Nude Peach and Nude Pink!!! Much loves! HOWEVER, the texture is too thick for me because I prefer something glossier & a lighter texture. This lipgloss is great for those who doesnt want to put on a lipstick as the 1st coat as it already provide the colour and is very rich, different from normal lipgloss which most of the time only provide gloss and almost Zero colour! =)

-And so I found this!!! LA Girl Lipgloss (Beige Delight)-

So as the name suggests, now you guys get it? What's a Nude Peach tone? Its actually kinda similar to Beige. I find this perfect as it provides moisture, not too thick and at the same time provide the Nude Peach tone that I want and most importantly goes very well with my favourite Nude Peach tone lipstick from MAC (Peach Stock).

Falsies

Hullo peepz! So you guys have been reading about my lip colour, eyeshadow and make up base...so what now? FALSIES! aka false/fake eyelashes. =) I shall cut it short so....gonna share some tips about falsies yaw! There's many types of falsies and different types are for different occassions. Basicly I grouped the types according to Volume, Definition or Length. Most of it falls under 2 of the categories while some of the less promiment ones falls under 1 category only and the rare kinds will fall under all the categories...hehe! =D

-Come say Hi to all my falsies...btw these are not all...I've thrown away some lol-

-And not forgetting these important stuffs that's needed to fix them falsies! The glue and applicator (But personally I prefer to fix them with my fingers rather than the using applicator, but its a good tool to tighten loose ends)-

*PS: Its not an eye cream its really glue thats used to stick falsies or making temporary double eyelid. lol.

Aites since I favour falsies that provide more volume, I shall start with it first, note that most could fall under all 3 categories but I'll just sort them out according to what is their obvious features alright! So you might feel that they belong to more than the category that I've categoriesed them in. All opinions welcome! =) Btw the pics below the falsies and the examples on how it looks like when applied to the lid.

-The most dramtic, not my personal favourite though coz its too exagerating & kinda made me look tranny-fied. lol-

(3 categories: Equal percentage or Volume, Definition & Length)

-But it does look fine from far though or perhaps it was my 22nd B'day so everything seemed fine...HAHA!- =D

-The next one provide a similar features but the length is shorter and thus kidda look more natural than the previous-

(2 categories: 60% Definition / 40 % Volume)

-I like the next one coz its simple and just what I needed, one of the 1st volumous falsies that I bought-

(100% Volume)

-Now this is kinda similar to the previous one just that it is less 'thick' thus providing a natural volume that is suitable for everyday use- =)

-Next is MY PERSONAL FAVOURITE! Provides a volumous and define effect yet not too drmatic-

(70% Volume / 30% Definition)

-And this is my latest collection, the new range from SASA. Unique, as it not only provide a natural volume but style too, the falsies kinda lengthen at the sides giving it a subtle sultry effect. Also suitable for everyday use. =)

-And now for those who prefers more of Definition and Length instead of Volume, this is for you-

(50% Definition / 50 % Length)

-And one more pic, this is 100% length but Ive thrown the falsies away so sorry no pic of the falsies hehe!- =D

-And last but not least!!! Bottom lash!!! Also can be found in Sasa. I love. This provides a dolly lash effect, very Kawaii! Actually you can 'fake' this fake lashes haha! by drawing it and applying mascara. That will be the next entry lah ok! lol. Btw the upper lash is the Definition & Length range-

Phewwwwww....!!! what a super long and mind draining entry...hope it helps some of you in choosing the right falsies! YAY! =D

So yesterday was recky-ing day for our *ahem! ahem!* place....Shhhhhh...its a surprise...hehe! Rather tiring but worthwhile cause I really miss our long walks together. Beary Nice Nails (Part 5)

After a month plus, I decided to visit them again right before CNY. =) Firstly because I need a new awesome nails for reunion dinner. Secondly because my skills stinks! =S Oklaaahhh..not that sucky lah..but still not up to standard lor...here's some try before I decided to head down to Beary Nice Nails for rescue lol.

-Nude- Gold-Gold Glitters (Kawaii inspired nails)....Fail coz my nude nail polish thats left in the bottle dried up so it looks untidy on the nails-

-Black-Hot Pink-Silver Glitters (Inspired by one of my nail design dne by Beary Nice Nails) Fail! the silver glitters doesnt blend well-

-Blue-Red-Silver Glitters (Inspired from Syidah & Hidayah as they were wearing blue & red so I decided to combine both colours) but FAIL MAX! It smudged before drying up. Ugly!-

-Baby pink (thats me! haha!), Baby green,Glittery Purple (Inspired by Paddle Pop! lol) This one not bad lah...quite neat but still no good!-

-And the final try, Transparent-Pale Pink-Gold Glitters (Kawaii inspired nails again) OKLAH...this one Im quite happy! Simple and neat. =) -

And now lets leave this job to the professionals...hehe...I chose Hot Pink-Purple & Chrystal Glitters this time....Tadaaaaaaa...! =D

B'day Surprise! =)

Sorry I took so long to update...been extremely busy with work.Haizzzz....3 centres siah...damn shag everyday and really freaking stressful but hope everything will be smooth in April and I'm definitely looking forward to something huge! You guys will find out soon hehe!.

Btw as promised Im gonna post on Hidayah's birthday celebration part 2 which was on her actual birthday date. We girls waited for Hidayah at FEP while she made her way there with Fir. She had no freaking idea we were there as she was only expecting Syidah and Fir for her b'day dinner at some Turkish restaurant in FEP. Surprise mahhhh...=p Ohhhh...BTW I dont quite favour the food. Its yucky and overcharge for me. Perhaps those who prefers the original, simple taste of mediteranean food will like it but naaahhh not for me. Yes I do love Turkish food but definitely not the one at FEP.

So last Saturday was Hidayah's advanced 22nd B'day celebration. Only 3 of us. Hidayah, Syidah and myself since the rest are not free on that day but oh boy...it was chaotic larrrr... Wakakakaa! We girls were having our own whor-ish moments grinding and crumping in the Karaoke lounge. LOL.

Flawless

So as the title suggests, I'm gonna share with you honeyz some of my favourite Make-up base. YES! Base is very important honeyz! No point having all the awesome eyeshadows and blushers if you don't have the right base! Flawless skin is a prominent factor to achieve an awesome make-up! I've been tweeting alot on these so today I'm gonna post the most recent products that I'm using. This is just a tip Ok! Ofcourse they are other brands which are just as good! =)

First and foremost Im gonna share with you my all time favourite BB Cream! Yes! I'm pretty sure most of you girls have heard about it multiple times. BB Cream stands for Blemish Balm Cream. So yeah! you can forgo your liquid foundation if you apply this and whats better? You can also forgo your mosturiser! COOL? But I still apply my mosturiser before applying BB Cream because sometimes my skin tends to get dry when the weather is really hot! =S

-My favourite BB cream from Lioele (Triple the Solution-$46) =Sun screen, Whitening & Anti-aging. This is the best of Lioele's BB Cream range. Good coverage, Matte feeling and doesnt look 'heavy' or 'thick' or 'cakey'!- =)

-And lucky me, there was promotion when I bought this so I received free samples on Lioele and Elisha Coy skin care range! Much loves! =)

Btw most BB Cream comes in one colour tone. It will oxyfoam to your skin tone, around 2 mins upon application. Cool? =)

-My second favourite BB cream would be this! BB Toc Toc! Cute siah! I say good not because of the cute name k! Same benefits but this one is slightly thicker. Good for those who prefers extreme coverage and cheaper too around $26- =)

So what's next after your liquid foundation or BB Cream? Its POWDER time! Usually when you already apply a liquid base, you need not apply Two-Way-Cake. You usually apply loose powder or compact powder for the ultimate matte look so it will not appear too cakey. Two-Way-Cake is usually applied for those who wants a quick touch up and those who does not apply liquid base. However, I prefer to apply a Two-Way-Cake for the finishing look eventhough I already applied liquid foundation/ BB Cream before that. I prefer to go for extreme coverage and touch-ups with loose powder is such a hassle!

-All time favourite is obviously from MAC! Around $45 or so...forget already...sorry haha!-

-A cheaper yet still as AWESOME choice would be from ZA!- =D

-And ofcourse from my favourite Lioele, its called the 'Real Chrystal Powder'. Apart from the gorgeous packaging, its also really good for those who prefers a lighter feeling, not as heavy as the Two-Way-Cake but still an awesome coverage! - =)

Last but not least is the Concealor! You can apply this before or after your liquid foundation/ BB Cream. This works wonders in concealing your dark circles/ eyebags/ blemishes. Just remember to blend it well honeyz! You wouldn't want patches on your skin. PAISEY! LOL!

-My FAVOURITE from Make Up Shop! It last for months! Save money! HAHA!-

-And very cheap from E.L.F! $6 plus...you can get it much cheaper online yaw! =D

Clare Rachael from U.K just retweeted that my self-painted nails are lovely although I really thought that its kinda messy! So sweet of her...=) (You can view the pic at my pink twitter box, just click on previous tweets) LOL. Its nude-gold-glitter this time. Btw she asked me a tip on how I grew my nails long without breaking them and thus it looks like expensive fake acrylic nails. The secret is to apply nail strengthener/nail protein before applying any nail polish or just apply it on its own weekly or everyday, doesnt matter. I used nail strengthener from U.G.N.Y anyways. =)

By the by I'm gonna post some random silly pics of Joey and me..our usual Saturdays lorrrr...my happy pill though sometimes such a pain in the ass. (not literally ok LOL) =p

Its Wednesday already and a few more days I will have to start work again...Wooooowwww...its been a long holiday yaw. This is what I hate most about holidays...your body have become too complacent. Suddenly at 2.30 am, I recalled my past life and its pretty haunting. (My sleep time is 4am btw) Some things are best left unsaid but on the other hamd, I wish I could hear the truth and in return let out eveything that has been locked inside my heart for quite some time. I wanna have a clean closure. I'm not sure who I'm actually referring to or which particular episodes of my life but something for sure I do not want to feel this way. Its been so long that I ever wrote something as crappish as this, so apologies haha. I'm just typing non stop without thinking much. Probably I will just laugh at myself when I read this pathetic entry tomorrow.

If you are reading this which I'm pretty much sure you are, I hope you will reflect upon this. I do not hate you neither do I possessed any more emotions towards you. Ive move on but undenialby the memories are still fresh in my mind be it good or bad. Im now blessed with a man that is willing to go through thick and thin with me though life is never a bed or roses.

And again Im emphasising the fact that I dont know where I'm heading to with this crap of mine but whatever it is I wish you all the best with your future undertakings. Ohaya! Apologies for the slowmo entry...so many things to blog but dont know where to begin lehhh...So many of you gorgeous peeps out there has been asking how I applied my eyeshadow...its simple honeyz! Practice makes Perfect yaw! Sorry I don't have any tutorial vid yet and I'm quite bz at the moment to snap pics of the step-by-step guide so I'll leave you honeyz with some of the close-up pics taken so you can analyse the colour tones that I mixed and try it youself today! Yiiipeee! =D

-First & foremost let me present to you my BFF! YEAH THE 88 COLOUR PALLETTE! It works wonders honeyz! (No, its note a mini lappy! =p)

-Ohhhh wait up! Before I got this studio pallette, O2 eyeshadows has been a great company for my eye lid! LOL. (I think Ive posted this before)-

-And nvr underestimate those minis coz with just those 4 colours, you can create wonders tooTake a look, the bluish, greenish and purplish tones- =)

-Greenish tones-

SEE!!! You dont have to be a pro or owned a whole set of cosmetic product to achieve a dramatic VAVAVOOM eyes...with just 4 colours, you can create multiple colour tones. Just mix and match honeyz! But ofcourse it takes whole lot of practice! =)

And now I'll show you what you can do with the 88 colour pallette. I used to think that too much colour is redundant and did not understand why Make-up artist need a whole lot of colours but after trying it myself, I began to understand and made the full use of all the colours to achive the ultimate effect and duuurhhhhh different skin colours need different kinds of colour tone.

For example, a tanned skin may used the same colour tones that I applied onto my fair skin but it may not be as outstanding. Likewise if I apply the colour tones that suits a tanned skin, it may not look good on me though the effect may be the same. (Do you understand where i'm driving at? Wakakaka!)

-So this is my all time favourite, a Purplish tones using the 88 colour pallette (Note that when I say purplish tones, I did not only used all purple shades to create the ultimate effect, I used ard 5 diff colours with simillar shades)

Singapore 2010 Youth Olympics Games

Hello gorgeous peeps! How have u ppl been doing? =) Hope you guys are feeling awesome out there because I am! =D despite the mundane routine everyday haha...Life's too short to grieve over trivial matters yeah so cheer up! And yeah you can accompany yourself with Korean drama like I do everyday. Kawaii Rockzzz!!! =D

Oh yes...as the title suggests, the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games is around the corner yaw! So somewhere last week I went trough an awesome process! No I did not train for the Olympics larrrr....dream on...hehe! But just as good, I accompanied Joey for a song recording. Joey helped out our dear Nur Aqilah, a 14 year old talent with her beautifully composed song for the upcoming Youth Olympic Game. With just 4 simple cords, a heart warming song is composed and recorded with the help of Joey, Uncle Zack, Aliff Production and our dearest Nur Aqilah herself. =)

May u achieve success in everything that you do!

'BEARY NICE NAILS' (Part 4) =)

So as you gorgeous peeps might have already noticed from the previous entry, my New Year nail colour tone are quite similar to my New Year outfit!-Purplish-Pink-Sparkles! Much loves. =) So as usual...enjoy the pics below! This is the cheapest nail art so far, simply 3 colour tones and no usage of any special brushes to paint any designs.

Express manicure=$8, French tip/2 tones=$5, Total cost=$13 only!!! (Tell me where can you get cheaper? Tell me now faster! Dont have right...So must go larrr! =D )

-My choice of colour for this time round and yes I am biased towards OPI nail colour!- =p

-So after all the cutting, filling, buffing and applying base coat, its time to apply the 1st layer of colour-

-And.... Taaaaadaaaaa...! The sparkles made hell loads of difference yeah??? So process ends with a touch of top coat. (Ooooh..ignore the nail on my index finger, its much shorter than the rest coz its cropped by accident LOL- =D

-Lastly, new pretty painted nails must always be camwhored even after a week plus coz its still look sooo damn good!- =D
